As a member of the USA Air Power, Gerard (or G, as he likes to be referred to as) is required to take common health checks to gauge his stage of well being and health, making certain he’s prepared for any army mission at any time.

After scoring a 78 on his 2008 check — simply three factors above passing — he determined he didn’t need to be common and knew he wanted to make a change to his weight-reduction plan and general way of life. Regardless that train was a part of G’s routine, he couldn’t appear to say no to the not-so-healthy meals that have been outdoing his arduous work.

“On a private stage, that was not the place I wanted to be in life. You actually can’t outrun your fork.”

After buckling down on his weight-reduction plan by monitoring his meals with the MyFitnessPal app, getting a standing desk for work and turning into extra critical along with his operating, G scored a 95 on his 2011 check, surpassing even his personal expectations.

Now, G has accomplished a number of marathons and lately ran a 100Ok (62-mile) race this previous June. Clearly, his life is a far cry from his 2008 self — and we don’t want a health check to inform us that.
